What organs make up the immune system? Immune system is a network of organs, glands and tissues that work in coordination with each other to protect our body from foreign antigens such as bacteria, viruses and infection causing bacteria. The bodies immune system located throughout our body. Some of the main organs of the immune system are: >> << Bone marrow: Bone marrow is the soft tissue that is inside most of our bones. All cells of the human immune system occur from stem cells in bone marrow. Bone marrow produces blood in the process of B cells (B lymphocytes), immature thymocytes, leukocytes, erythrocytes and platelets. All these specialized cells play an important role in identifying and destroying foreign antigens. Thymus: thymus is an organ located at the top front of the chest just behind the breastbone. The main function of the thymus is producing mature T lymphocytes and T cells. T cells play an important role in the adaptive immune system. Loss of thymus early in life through genetic mutation or surgical results difficult process immunodeficiency. Spleen: The spleen body lasix 40mg flat on the top left side of the abdomen. The spleen acts as a filter, it filters the blood immunological blood and destroys old or damaged blood vessels. It consists of B-lymphocytes (B-cells), T lymphocytes (T cells), macrophages, dendritic cells. T cells and B-cells, detection of foreign particles and create antibodies against it. Lymph nodes: Lymph nodes are small bobovidnye body located in the lymph vessels. Lymph nodes filter immunological function of the body. Lymph nodes are mainly composed of T cells, B lymphocytes, dendritic cells and macrophages. When foreign antigens enter the lymph nodes or circulation or lymphatic vessels, these cells distinguish them as foreign antigens and respond accordingly.
